Liza and I have been thinking about keeping a list of all the illnesses and crazy health things that have been happening to us in the last few weeks.... so here they are:
1. Lice invaded our house and have been hard kill off.
2. Zach got a cold.
3. Isabella came to our bed after midnight saying "my face is wet" and we discovered that she had a bloody nose that had gotten all over her, the bed, the bathroom, etc.
4. Liza got an eye infection.
5. Liza broke her arm.
6. Liza had a reaction to the pain medicine and threw up all day Saturday.
7. Zach woke up this morning with one eye glued shut with gunk. He went to the doctor today and we found out he has an ear infection that went to his eye.
Please, God, make it stop. :-)

Doesn't it seem like when it rains, it pours? We had a month similar to that last month and it is so frustrating! I believe that colds and sickness and even lice come from Satan so he can render us ineffective. In fact, another believer told me last month that Satan doesn't even bother to inflict ineffective Christians. He doesn't waste his time. So I guess you can be encouraged that Satan thinks your house is definitely worth his time. Be strong, hang in there!!
I always remember the saying that "what does not kill you makes you stronger." "Or God will not give you more than He knows you can handle". The good thing is that you have people right here that love and pray for you and bring you dinner. Our prayers are with you.
