Why not?
Today Zach found a new badminton set that Grammie had picked up at Walgreens. He picked it up and wanted to play. So, after he asked and received permission, I got it out of the plastic it came in. As we were taking it out, Isabella said, "Can you teach us to play this tennis?" I replied, "Well, yes, but this is not tennis, it is badminton." She thought about it for a second and said, "Daddy, why don't they call it 'goodminton'?" Good question!

Camoflage
Before we left Austin for our summer road trip, we went to the Co-op next to campus at UT to get Isabella a Texas shirt. We had already picked up a UT outfit for Zach and wanted to wear it that day. When we got to the children's department of the store, he saw a bunk bed made up in all Texas longhorns. He immediately ran over to it and jumped in. I thought it was funny because with his UT outfit on, he blended right in.

The 3000 mile road trip
We are on our way and Chris has put a program on his iPhone to blog from the road (no, we don't twitter.)
So,our first funny comments...Isabella was complaining about being cold and Zach offered one of his beloved star blankies. Then he offered her his bunny. Her immediate response with disdain was, "Zach, I don't want disgusto bunny!" chris will have to post a picture but those of you who know Disgusto can appreciate Isabella's response.
We were listening to kids music and Zach asked what "binna" means. He regularly does this. So I sang through the song to discover that he actually heard "up in a" I love what they come up with.
