Xander's first laugh

Liza was making Xander laugh yesterday and I was able to catch it on video with my iPhone. It was so very cute!

2 months to 3 months

Last month Liza decided to start taking pictures of Xander each month on the couch so we can see his growth. Here he is at 2 months.

And here he is at 3 months.

And here is one of his big smiles.

A whole new bunny

This is a picture of Isabella, Zach and Xander. It is also a picture of Zach's bunny that he has sucked on (rather than his thumb) since he was very little. His aunt named it "disgusto bunny" and that name has stuck.

Tonight we were out doing errands and the kids were having a philosophical conversation about what it would be like if there was a blanket the size of the whole world, or, for instance, they had a stuffed animal the size of our van. Then Zach said, quite earnestly, "Daddy, I wish I could get a whole new bunny, but this time he would have 8 arms!" We had a good laugh.

Happy 3 month birthday Xander!

"I'm taking time to pray"

Last Friday at dinner, Isabella said, "Today I decided to take some time to pray." We asked her when she did this and she said, "Well, today was the the last one going around the track and was by myself, so I thought this would be a good time to pray, so I did." I asked what she was praying for and she said lots of things and different people. I thought it was remarkable that she would be thinking about that even at school and that she would do something like that on her own. She is a very sweet little girl. :-)

Snow!

Here are three videos put together from our day of snow last week. The kids really had a great time playing out in it while it lasted.

Cuties

Here are a couple of cute pictures.

The Chase

A couple of Saturday's ago, the kids were running around the kitchen singing, so I jumped in the mix with the camera. On the second time around, the dog started chasing me in the line. You can see Zach looking back at the dog as we are going around, all the time still singing.
