Egg Hunt

When we got back to Austin, Liza and the kids went to an Easter egg hunt that was done with our new parents class at church. They had lots of fun looking for eggs.



Zach didn't really get what he was supposed to do with them. He'd just open them up, eat the candy, and throw them on the ground to go look for some more.



Isabella caught on to that method as well. She was also sporting her high fashion look of easter dress with green frog galoshes.

Visiting Nana & Papa

Near the start of March, we went to Houston for a few days to see family and raise some new monthly support. We had a great time staying with my sister, Kelli, and seeing all the family. We went over to my grandparents' house one afternoon and the kids had fun playing in the back yard and seeing their great-grandparents.

Finally back to the blog

March was a crazy month, and I just didn't have time to get stuff on the blog. We are shooting 2 films back to back from April 11th to 15th and that has been taking a lot of time to get things ready.

In March we did a lot of stuff and got some great pictures, so I'll be posting stuff from the last month. I hope you enjoy it.

Many people have asked about Hoosier, our dog, so see if he returned home. Sadly, he has not. He's still out there somewhere either living with a new family (and he is so sweet I'm sure anyone would want to keep him) or he's chasing squirrels in doggie heaven. Isabella goes back and forth what she thinks happened to him.

We will get another dog sometime in the future, but not until we are done with our summer travels to be sure.... Thanks for your notes and prayers for our fuzzy friend.

Zach's first prayer

Last night while Liza was praying with Isabella and Zach before bed, Zach said his first prayer. He has been giving requests for a while now. "Pray Ashlee, pray baby NATE" but then he would let Liza or I pray. Last night when Liza was done, he said, "Dear Jesus. I pray Diesel. Amen."
Diesel would be one of his Thomas trains, of course.... too cute.

Zach's answer

Liza and the kids and I are on our way to Houston today. We are at a McDonalds in Brenham having a quick lunch. Zach just dumped his fries out on the table and said "dump it out!" Liza asked why he did that and he replied with no pause, "Why not?" We had a good laugh.

Visit from baby Nate

On Friday, our friend Ashley came over with Katie and "Baby Nate." The kids were very excited to see them and play with them.

He wasn't real happy with this photo op. He really wanted to eat, but Zach was happy.

Isabella joined in as well.

Ready for blast off? Zach had this bouncer bent almost back to the ground. He looked like he was practicing to be an astronaut.

Zach wants to pray for "Ashlee, AA, Katie and Baby Nate" every night. When he gets to baby Nate's name in the list, he says it in a very funny way. I got him on video today saying it today.

Still Missing

Update: We've put up posters all around and checked the animal shelter, but still no Hoosier. We're still praying for a safe return. Zach forgets and calls him, then says, "Oh, Hoosier bye bye." Isabella is ok. She thinks he may have decided to move on. I hope not.

Today while Liza and the kids were out from 10 to 2, Hoosier managed to dig out of the backyard and go for walkabout. He's got a tag on with our address and phone number, but no call so far. Isabella and I went out and drove all over the neighborhood, but didn't see him. Isabella and Zach are both praying for him to come home. Please join us in praying for a safe return for him. Thanks!

Snack Time

With the warmer weather, the kids have been having fun playing in the playhouse part of the playscape. Here they are a couple of days ago eating graham crackers (with pink frosting) and having a great time.
