Zach and Xander

Here are three videos of Zach and Xander playing. The love cars and dancing, and one day, playing with cups. You never know what might turn in to a fun pastime with these two...

Xander pics

Xander loves to play with the drums.
He marches around with them.

He likes this monkey hat too.

He loves playing with the shake and go racer cars.

Here he is playing with Zach and a bunch of cups.

They did this for a long time and had a blast.

Xander loves to dance.

He is a little cutie.

He loves getting in to Mommy's things too... :-)

Another story from our work with Global Short Film Network

This is a story we went and filmed in Armenia last December. It's a great picture of why we make the films we make and how they get used...

Xander's first haircut

Xander and his sissy before.

Xander Zach and Bella with their Australia t-shirts that they got from Daddy.

Xander pre-haircut

Checking out the haircut place.

Not real sure about this.

But this looked fun.

Ready to go.

Long hair!

Big curls. Mommy did not want them to get all cut off.

Cutting the front.

Looking cleaned up.

The shorter it got, the more curls appeared.

Looking cute with short hair.

Cuter than ever!

Enjoying some post haircut ice-cream and milk.

Playing with the star wars light saber. He's getting so big!

Pictures from Camping

We went camping in April and Xander loved it.

Cutie

He looks good with glasses...

Showing off his long hair

He is such a little sweetie. I love this picture.

More from the camping trip.

Playing with his friend Nate who came camping with us.

He had a blast playing in the creek.

With his brother and sister in the morning when it was still cold out.

Global Short Film Network Story

Here's a little video about our ministry with Global Short Film Network...

Isabella wins award

Tonight we went to the awards ceremony for the Reflections contest. Isabella had entered her film in to the contest and was one of two district wide winners that were forwarded to the state competition. Tonight we saw all the winners in all categories for honorable mention, award of merit and award of excellence. Isabella received a medal for her award of excellence and got to shake hands with the superintendent and board members of our school district. She was quite proud to represent her school in the ceremony. They said that the state competition winners will be announced at Spring Break time, which is mid-march.

Isabella saying her name and meeting the school board.

Waiting for the show to begin. They showed her movie to the theater. Zach was thrilled to see himself on the big screen. Isabella thought it was fun to hear people reacting to her film.

Catch-up

I can see by looking at the last picture that we are way behind on our blog. Since Christmas it has been pretty crazy around here with our family. We came back from Indiana and only had a couple of days before Liza and the kids headed out to Houston. I went to Ft. Worth for the yearly Winter Conference. Liza and Xander joined me for a few days then had to go back to Houston and pick up Zach and Bella so they could get back to Austin for the start of the school year. I came home on the 5th but only had a few days before Liza headed back to Houston for some support raising time. When she got home, I headed out for 8 days in Kenya where we held another film school for students in Nairobi. Now it is January 30th and the month has flown by...

I thought I would start things back up with a lovely little video that the kids made with their iPod touch (a Christmas gift.) I'm sure you will enjoy it and see why we say Zach is a total goofball.
