Isabella's first movie

Isabella made this little movie for an art contest at school. The theme of contest is "Together we can."
Isabella thought up the idea, shot the video on her camera and then made the movie with iMovie. I helped her by telling her where to click to see options and then she would choose the options and type in the text that she wanted. She really did about 95% of all the work and she was pleased with the results. :-)  I'm proud of her too...

Xander: super crawler

Zach and Xander love to play together. Today Zach was crawling and Xander was chasing him. They were having a great time. He's getting FAST!

Liza's quilt for Nancy

she is making for her friend Nancy's wedding.

After stitching together all the squares we had to pull the paper off the back.

Camping

Last weekend we went camping with our friends the Cavanaghs. It was the first time for Xander to go camping with us and he had a great time.

First Soccer Game

Today was Zach and Isabella's first day of soccer with the "Bulldogs." They are playing with a YMCA team. They had a lot of fun. They figured out pretty quickly that Isabella likes defense and Zach likes offense.

We were there for the game but have no idea who won. :-) The kids didn't seem to care at this point- they just had fun playing the game!

Xander's play time

Playing in the living room... he is one happy kid.

He loves to swing with his brother and sister.

He really loves to eat watermelon.

He loves to play with Zach and will crawl all over him.

Here he was getting in to Mommy's things and had a blast doing it.

Some fun pictures

The kids have lots of fun playing. Isabella and Zach play very well together and they like to play with Xander too. He is still more of a lone explorer, but he has fun laughing with them when they try to entertain him. Xander is now totally mobile and loves to go everywhere. Isabella received the fisher price play house from her grandparents back when she was tiny and all three kids have enjoyed playing with it over the years. Xander loves is now and will spend lots of time playing in and around it. He also loves to get under the end tables and go for the cords- or pull stuff off the end tables.

Today we celebrated Xander's 9 month birthday by going out for ice cream. He can now have dairy, so we thought he'd really enjoy it. His reaction was not what we expected:
